Tip 5: Secret Developer Options Menu and Easter Eggs

In older versions of Android OS (from 2.0 to 4.1), the "Developer Options" menu was directly visible to all users in Settings page. But "Developer Options" in newer Android versions(Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and later) is hidden. The decision to hide the menu was to prevent users using this advanced menu as it may harm OS functionality and may enable unwanted testing features. What you should do to active the option is open Settings page of your Android mobile phone first and then open "About Device" or “About Phone” section which can be found at the bottom of the setting page. Next to scroll down to see "Build Number" and tap on the "Build Number" for 7 times.
