Tic Tac Toe Board Oliver and Tristan
Today we will be making a Tic Tac Toe Board. This project is fairly simple and will require the use of multiple different machines. This will include the Table Saw, miter saw and drill press and router.

Supplies
2/4 inch board/ lumber
Wood stain
Clear coat
Number 10 screw/washer
Excess wood for the door
Miter Saw
Screw Driver
Table Saw
Drill Press
Drill Bits (Size based on Drawing file)
Pencil
Ruler/ Tape Measure
Router
Lumber
First you will need to cut the 2/4 to the appropriate length and size according to the drawing file.
Cutting Lumber and Engraving
Then you will use the table saw at the appropriate height to cut out the squares on the top of the board. These are about 1/10 of an inch deep.
Drilling Holes
Next you will use the drill press to create the holes for the marbles to be placed in. Mark the center by drawing a line from each corner. (Be sure to use a straight edge). Then set the height of the drill press to the depth shown on the drawing.
Drilling Holes for Marble Storage
Next you will drill the holes on the side of the board with the cross cuts for the marbles to be stored within. These holes should be about 3/4 of the board and again should be marked at the center by drawing lines from each corner. To complete this task the drill press will be used and set to the desired depth setting.
Hole for Door and Number 10 Screw
Next you will drill the screw hole for the number 10 screw to go in. This screw will be what the door revolves around. Make sure to drill the whole with the drill press to the length of the actual number 10 screw to ensure that it will be easily screwed in.
Router
Now in order to have a clean finish you need to router the edges of your board.
Wood Stain
Next use wood stain and follow the instructions on the back of the can to stain the board.
Clear Coat
Finally apply a clear coat while following the instructions on the can.
Putting Pieces Together
Now that you have a door and a board, screw in the screw with a screwdriver to properly attach the door to the board.
