Solar Powered Car

The idea of my invention is to make a Solar Panel Car which means it’s a car that works on the solar energy that is transferred from the Solar Panel to the DC motor which moves the wheel by the use of solar energy

Pollution is a very big issue in our world has many negative effects on us. Pollution has many types one of those types are air pollution, air pollution can have a negative effect on a human health, air pollution can cause heart diseases, lung cancer respiratory diseases, and long term damage to the nerves, kidney, liver, and many more organelles, so using transport vehicles that work on oil or diesel and that releases gases into the air will pollute the air that will lead to hurting many people but people continue polluting the air by using these transport vehicles that release gasses into the air. We need to stop this problem because according to USA TODAY in 2018, they stated that air pollution affects 90% of the world population and one of the factors that cause air pollution is using transport vehicles that release gases in the air so in that case, so people don’t get hurt we need to find a solution for using transport vehicles that release gases in the air. I am going to try to solve this problem by making a model of a solar panel car but this isn’t a model for how cars should be in the future, this a model that shows can work on the suns energy which doesn't harm the air and that will to allow others to think of a way to use cars that work on the suns energy

After research, I found out that using the sun energy to generate a vehicle or even to generate electricity which helps reduce Air pollution, using Solar energy help reduce air pollution because when we use the solar panels to generate for example vehicles or electricity doesn't produce toxic emissions from fossil fuels to the air which means it won't pollute the air. Also during my research, I found out that if Air pollution continues that will have a negative impact on humans health that some would get heart diseases, lung cancer respiratory diseases, and long term damage to the nerves, kidney, liver, and many more organelles and if that continues the death rate. Using solar energy has many advantages one of these advantages are it has the least negative impact on the environment, it also applicable everywhere so it can be used on vehicles, homes and using on vehicles will help stop one of the causes of Air pollution, and it also helps reduce. However, there are also some disadvantages to using the sun energy one of the disadvantages is that the cost of the solar panels is very expensive, also using the suns energy is depending on the weather that not every place in the world gets sunny days which make it hard for them to use the suns energy, using the solar panel also takes a lot of space. Also during my the research I found that using a vehicle that works on solar energy help to clear the vehicle gases from the air which reduces Air pollution and it will also save natural resources, and using a vehicle that works on the solar energy will cost no energy all the energy will be taken from the sun and people will save money from putting gas into the car

The Sion solar panel car, when you first see this car you think that is a small black car that has solar panel inside it but it is much more complicated, this car has many features one of these features are that it takes only 30 min to charge up to 80% but the solar panel are only used to charge the car not run it.

The Toyota solar panel car, when you first see this car you think that is a normal car that has solar panel on top of it but it is much more complicated, this car has many features one of these features this car can add up as much as 44.5 km of range to the plugin hybrid a day, and the solar panels that are on the car are 0.03 thick but can deliver up to 860 watts of power and charge the car while driving.

So as we see that they are many companies that are working to make a fully running car on solar energy until know it isn’t driven only in Japan by the Toyota car but soon there will be cars and maybe more vehicles that fully running a car on solar energy

After my research, I found out that using suns energy help reduce air pollution, and I also found out that if we continued to pollute our air that can affect human health, I also found out that using the suns energy has its benefits and it's negative such as it doesn't pollute but it costs a lot for a Solar panel and many other advantages and disadvantages, I also found out that using vehicles that doesn't emit gases in the air, help reduce Air pollution. Also in finding some existing, I found out a Toyota car which works on solar energy and a Sion car but that doesn't run on solar energy it only charges by solar energy and I can analyze from that, that there is a lot of companies that are working to have a car or a vehicle that works on solar energy so they can eliminate a factor that causes air pollution which are vehicles which emits gases but there aren’t there yet only Toyota but it is only found in one place which is Japan but there are a lot trying to make them and there some researches that say that a car that runs on solar energy might be available this year. Finally, my problem is that people are depending on a lot of vehicles that emit gases in the air which can lead to air pollution and we need to solve that so I decided I wanted to make a model which can inspire companies to try to finish the car or vehicle which runs on solar energy so air pollution decrease and people's health doesn't get affected.

First of all, my plan is to gather up all of the material especially the material that isn’t found in the house such as the Solar Panel and the DC motor and after that I would a small wood in a shape of a rectangle or carboard and then I need to label the places of where the wheels will be at and next to the front wheels will be a small cut in a rectangle shape which will fit for the axles and then take a straw make it fit the lines I made for the wheels and glue them on them after that put a small metal stick that would fit between the straws and attach the wheels on them but in the front wheels make sure I put the metal stick through the axles and then attach the wheel and then I will glue the DC motor next to the axles so when the motor is powered by the solar panel the axles move the wheels after that I placed a small piece of wood that is high so the solar panel doesn't be on the same level as the base and the motor and after that I connected the solar panel to the DC motor and then I will try it and see if it worked.

To test my invention I only have one testing method which is seeing if my invention has worked. So to test my the invention first of all I am going to wait when the sunrise fully and then take the car that I made and see if it is going to works by the suns energy and if the car moved then I can evaluate the success of my solution.

After testing my method I can say that the car worked because when I went out and the sun had risen fully and on top of the sky when I put the car down the motor started to work which moved the axle which moved the wheels which moved the car and because of that I can say that my solution has worked and that I created a model of how efficient a car can work from solar energy but I can say that the car could have some improvement on my model but I have reached my solution which is showing the efficiency of solar energy and that could persuade companies to finish this project so that air could be cleaner and human health doesn't get affected.

My solution can be improved if I get matching axles or axles that fit each other so it can work more smoothly, also, change the wheels to maybe wheels that are from an electronic car instead of using Lego wheels and change the carboard to a very thin metal so it doesn't be so heavy and drill the motor to it so it works smoothly but lastly the make the solar panel flat and can be adjusted so if I want it to go high it goes so it can work at any time from sunrise until before the sunset because I faced a problem when I put the solar panel tilted when the sun started to go down the solar the panel couldn't get the solar energy when it was on the floor.
