Inexpensive DIY Mayu Swirl for Structured Water <$50

MayuSwirl.jpg

For <$50 this does exactly the same thing as the $200+ Mayu Swirl using basic laboratory equipment.

Supplies

  1. Magnetic Stirrer able to supported 3000mL containers: https://amzn.to/3OAlvt6 ~$20 (I've had great success with this one).
  2. 2000mL glass flask with stopper. I went with an Erlenmeyer style like this: https://amzn.to/4bPr6FE ~$23, but if you like the rounded shape, you can use a boiling flask ~$25 https://amzn.to/4as8eKz
  3. Trace Minerals. I've been using ConcenTrace: https://amzn.to/3Mytial but I've see others use this Aussie brand: https://amzn.to/4qrgz75

  1. Place the stirrer base.
  2. Fill your clean flask with water
  3. Place the flask on top of the base and insert the food-grade safe magnetic stirrer (usually comes with the base and the flask).
  4. Drop in your trace minerals / electrolytes (follow instructions on bottle).
  5. Turn on the magnetic stirrer and set the variable speed.
  6. Put the stopper on your flask and let it swirl.
  7. After 5 mins+ drink and enjoy saving $150 on your structured water... :)

Lastly, if you remove your flask from the base, you'll have to stop the magnetic stirrer when you put it back on. The magnet will then pull the little stirrer back to the middle of the flask, and you can turn the device on again.

Notes

When someone told me I should try structred water, I was excited, but after seeing the price of what is essentially the same thing, I had to make this guide for anyone out there that wants the same "benefits" without the additional financial burden.
