How to Make Your Bed

Going through the steps of making your bed, from a blank mattress to a comfy bed to sleep on

Fitted Sheet

Pillows

Pillowcase

Comforter

Mattress

Starting with the fitted sheet, find the bottom/top side of the sheet(Sometimes indicated on a tag)

Starting at the bottom of the bed, fit each corner of the sheet underneath the mattress as indicated below

Once both bottom corners are secure, move to the top of the bed. At whichever corner is easiest to get to, secure the fitted sheet under the mattress at that corner

Once 3 corners are secure, move your hand beneath the last untucked corner and push forward as you move across the bed to push the edge of the sheet into its corner.

Tuck the last corner as deep as possible under the mattress to reduce later wrinkles

Move to the 3 earlier corners and re-inspect to ensure they are fully tucked under the mattress

Moving onto pillows, take each pillowcase and a pillow and put the end of the pillow into the pillowcase as shown

Grab the opening sides of the pillowcase and pull towards you then upwards and shake to move the pillow into the case

Repeat for each pillow and organize them onto the top of the top of the bed

Moving onto the comforter, lay the comforter on top of the bed, with the top of the comforter just going over the pillows

Straighten out the comforter and smooth edges to side of mattress

If desired, flip a small amount of the comforter over to create a distance from the pillows for ease of getting underneath it
