How to Get Your Parents to Get You MERCH [from Anything]

idk- just thought you guys might possibly need it, like I did! :P

Supplies

SUPPLIES:

-A computer/laptop

-Access to Google Slides

-Access to photos

-At least decent editing

IF YOU DON'T HAVE A COMPUTER/LAPTOP:

-Paper + Pencil

-A creative mind

[go to the last step for this one!]

Make a New Google Slide

Once you make a Google Slide, you can edit it to show what exactly you're wanting. For example, "Why I should get ____ merch!" or "Why you should get me some merch from ____!"

This will help show what you want, and give your parents an exact detail and telling of what it is.

Edit the Title Slide

The photo is from one of my older ones like this that I made about maybe a year or two ago. I was all up on Todoroki, so, yea- [I'm not gonna get up all on that, so I'ma move on.]

Anywho, just edit it to look like you really want it and you really worked hard on this to get it. I added 8 slides in total, which I will put them all [in separate] on these steps. So, for short, just edit the first slide to make it look pretty good/decent to how you like it.

Start First Slide

Again, this was a long time ago, so- [augh I need to shut up-]

So for the first slide, there will be reason #1. I just put whatever was on the top of my head at the time. [I have two Todoroki figures, but honestly, I never really play with them-]

Showing one good reason at the start will get them curious and hooked.

Make Second Slide

For the second reason, you can put something like mine/take inspiration, I don't mind. I just couldn't think of anything lol.

But for your second reason, I wouldn't put anything too good, and like a weak excuse. This will get them thinking and make them even more curious on what and why you want that merch.

Make Third Slide

For the third slide, you could put something a bit more convincing, but not convincing enough. This will get them to be like, "Oh, yeah, so my child wants this, and I guess those are some 'good' reasons." Y'know, like what an adult would say-

For making it a bit more convincing, but not convincing enough, will build up the 'climax' and make them even more curious.

Make Fourth Slide

For the- [lol I'm laughing so hard rn- T^T] -For the fourth slide, you could put something kinda like the first slide. [not really convincing, but convincing a bit] Again, this will build up the 'climax' and make them more curious.

[I know most of you are probably gonna/are using the same things I put, but, y'know-]

Make Fifth Slide

[Took me so long to get 'fifth' right-]

For the fifth slide, you could put something way more convincing, giving your parents what they want. This will make them happy, and make them think more, and probably will make them choose to buy some for you. [but they'll probably remind you of this whenever you ask why you're doing a million chores-]

Make Sixth Slide

[WHAT TFF-]

For the sixth slide, you could put something kinda like the fifth, making it really convincing and giving your parents what they want. This will make them more convinced, and will most likely say, "yes." then right after reading this. [I feel like I'm repeating myself-]

Make Seventh Slide

For seventh, and the final, slide, you could give them some weird, goofy reason, kinda like the second slide. This'll make them be like, "Oh, yeah, definitely giving this to my weird-ahh child now." Y'know?

Finish Final Editing

You can edit the slides and finish them however you'd like. Make them look good/cool, or just however you want it to look!

For Those Without Computers/laptops

If you don't have a computer/laptop, use paper/pencil. I didn't do this, so I'm just gonna explain it.

-Use [non-lined] paper for drawing! Draw whatever you'd like, and make sure you add a lot! Just keep enough room for the reasons/title!

-After you're done with the drawings, write down all the reasons you can think of that'll be good for it. You can go back and check my reasons from my Google Slide screenshots! Add a title that works perfectly for it, too, and make sure it's good and not "Gimmie dat merch"! :D

-Once you've finished all that, color it as much as you'd like! Make sure you color at least all the pictures/drawings, the background can stay white!
