Gym Model

This gym model is based off of a few of the local gyms the YMCA, Barbell fitness and LA Fitness. The first step I took for this project was scouting each of those gyms to see what was being used and what people liked, that way there was no wasted space. On the first floor this design includes a pool, steam room , hot tub, locker room, and a room for storage. On the second level is the weight room and a studio for any sort of classes. I left extra open space for machinery as well. Durning the design process I was drawing many different sketches to make sure I had the gym mapped out how I had wanted. Building the model was very interesting learning how to use the building platform Tinkercad. It took me a little bit of time to figure out how to build and tinker with the model but eventually figured it all out. This is my design process and thoughts for this project.
