Five Cheese Ziti

Why go to Olive Garden for your favorite pasta, when you can make a better version at home. A quick dinner option that everyone will love. Feel free to add your choice of meat to the dish!!

Supplies

  1. 16 ounces dry ziti or small tube pasta
  2. 48 ounces marinara sauce
  3. 15 ounces alfredo sauce
  4. 1 cup whole milk ricotta cheese
  5. 2 cups shredded Italian blend cheese
  6. 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  7. 1/2 cup panko
  8. 2 teaspoons granulated garlic
  9. 2 tablespoons butter
  10. 1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley

Pre-Heat Oven/ Cook Pasta

  1. Start by boiling a pot of water to cook your pasta to al dente. Once you get that started, preheat your oven to 350 degrees.

Make Your Pasta Sauce

  1. In a large saucepan, combine the marinara sauce, alfredo sauce, ricotta, and 1 cup of Italian blend cheese. Cook over medium heat until the cheese has melted and the sauce begins to simmer. Add pasta to sauce and stir.


Prepare for Oven/put in Oven

  1. Pour the mixture into a prepared baking dish and top with the remaining 1 cup of Italian blend cheese.


  1. In a small bowl, combine the Parmesan, panko, granulated garlic, and melted butter. Mix well and sprinkle over the pasta.


  1. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes, until bubbly and golden brown. Remove from the oven and let stand for 10 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
