Today am sharing the pattern for Easy Crochet Rose Flower. This adorable Rose pattern is very quick and simple to work on. 4 Ply Cotton Knitting Yarn

3 mm Crochet Hook

Round 1:-

Start with a Slip Knot.

Chain 36.

Round 2:-

1 Single Crochet in the 2nd Chain from the hook.

1 Single Crochet in each of the remaining stitches.

Once you reach end, Chain 2 and use the Straight Edge Turning Chain to make the Turning Chain.

Straight Edge Turning Chain:-

Usually you would Chain 2, turn and start working the next round. Here is a quick tip to have a nice straight edge .

  1. Insert the hook into the 1st chain from the bottom.
  2. Yarn over and pull up a loop. You should have 2 loops on the hook.
  3. Turn your project and insert the hook into the first stitch.
  4. Yarn over and pull up a loop. You will have 3 loops on the hook.
  5. Lastly, yarn over and pull through all the 3 loops.
  6. This will make one Half Double Crochet.

Round 3:-

1 Half Double Crochet is already made while making the turning chain.

2 Half Double Crochets in the 1st stitch(this will make total 3 Half Double crochets in the 1st stitch).

Skip 3 stitches.

3 Half Double Crochets in the next stitch

Skip 3.

Repeat(3 HDC,Sk3)

Once you reach end, Chain 1 and Turn your work.

Round 4:-

1 Single Crochet in each stitch.

1 Double Crochet is already made while making the turning chain.

3 Double Crochets in the next stitch.

1 Double Crochet in the next stitch

1 Slip Stitch in the next stitch

Repeat(1DC,3DC,1DC,1SL)and weave off leaving a long tail for sewing.

Round 6:-

Assembling:-

Start rolling your project from Right to Left and carefully wrap it around.

Using a Yarn Needle sew it together by making the stitches at the bottom of the flower.

Be sure to sew the side end of the flower too.

Use can also use Fabric Glue to stick it together.

Round 7:-

Sepal:-

Start with a Magic Circle.

Chain 1 (Not Counted as a Stitch. It is just to bring the yarn to a working height)

5 Single Crochets in the circle.

Pull the yarn end to close the gap.

Slip Stitch on top of the first Single Crochet.

Round 8:-

2 Single Crochet in each stitch around.

Slip Stitch on top of the first Single Crochet.

Round 9:-

*Chain 6.

1 Slip Stitch in the 2nd Chain from the hook.

1 Half Double Crochet each in the next 2 stitches.

1 Single Crochet in the last stitch.

Skip 1 Stitch.

1 Slip Stitch in the next stitch(i.e. on the next Single Crochet)*

That's 1 Point made.

Repeat from (* to * ) 4 more times.

Make the last Slip Stitch and weave off.

Joining:-

Using a yarn needle sew the Rose Flower and the Sepal together and weave off the yarn ends.
