Cupid’s Pink Potion Margarita | Tequila Valentine’s Day Cocktail

This pretty pink potion margarita is Cupid’s magic elixir for love day! It’s a festive tequila Valentine’s drink that pops with bubbly personality.

Tools:

1. Jigger - for measuring spirits
2. Muddler - for crushing fruits
3. Cocktail Shaker
4. Cocktail Strainer
5. Festive Valentines Day Cocktail Picks
6. Rocks Glass or Margarita Glass

Ingredients:

1. 1½ oz Blanco Tequila
2. 2 fresh Strawberries - quartered for muddling
3. ½ oz Fresh Lime Juice
4. ½ oz Agave Nectar
5. 1½ oz Cranberry Juice
6. splashes Pink Champagne - rose champagne or pink prosecco sparkling wine
7. Sliced Lime Wheels - for garnish
8. Rose Petals - for decoration
9. Pink Sanding Sugar - or coarse sea salt for cocktail rim

1. Swipe your rocks glass with a wedge of lime and dip into pink sanding sugars (or coarse sea salt if desired). Set prepared glass aside.
2. Quarter the 2 strawberries and drop them into the bottom of a cocktail shaker. Muddle the strawberries until completely crushed and juices are released.

1. Splash in the tequila, agave nectar, fresh lime juice, and cranberry juice.
2. Fill the cocktail shaker about half way with fresh ice cubes and shake well. Shake vigorously until all contents are completely cold and combined.
3. Remove cover from cocktail shaker and use a drink strainer to strain the drink into a rocks glass over new fresh ice.

1. Be sure to strain the cocktail to leave the chunks from the strawberry pulp behind in the shaker.
2. Top this delicious drink with a little splash of pink champagne and garnish with rose petals, sliced strawberries, or a lime wedge. Serve ice cold.
