  1. Rice/Dough Sheets -- 6
  2. Cottage Cheese/Paneer -- 100 Gms
  3. Boiled Corn -- 1/2 Cup
  4. Boiled Spinach -- 1 Cup
  5. Spring onion -- 1/2 Cup
  6. Mozzarella Cheese -- 1 Cup
  7. Processed Cheese -- 2-3 Cubes
  8. Black pepper -- 1/2 Tbsp
  9. Chilli Flakes -- 1/2 Tbsp
  10. Oregano -- 1/2 Tbsp
  11. Salt -- As per taste
  12. Sweet Chilli Sauce
  13. Edible Oil for deep frying
  14. all-purpose flour + water (to make sealing paste)

Prepare the Filling

  1. Grate the cheese cottage/paneer into a mixing bowl.
  2. Add boiled sweet corn.
  3. Add finely chopped spring Onion.
  4. Add boiled spinach.
  5. Add Mozzarella Cheese.
  6. Sprinkle black pepper powder.
  7. Add chili flakes.
  8. Add salt to taste.
  9. Mix everything well until it forms an even, well-combined filling mixture.

Shape the Cigar Rolls

  1. Take a rice paper sheet or dough sheet and place it flat on a clean surface.
  2. If the sheet is dry, lightly moisten it with water to make it flexible.
  3. Place a small amount of the prepared filling near one edge of the sheet.
  4. Spread the filling evenly in a straight line, leaving space on the sides.
  5. Fold the left and right sides slightly inward to secure the filling.
  6. Carefully roll the sheet tightly from one end to the other to form a neat cigar shape.
  7. Seal the edge with rice water & gently pressing it down so the roll does not open.

Fry the Rolls

  1. Heat enough oil in a deep frying pan or kadai over medium heat.
  2. Once the oil is hot, gently slide a few cigar rolls into the oil. Do not overcrowd the pan.
  3. Fry the rolls on medium heat to ensure even cooking and crispiness.
  4. Turn the rolls occasionally so they brown evenly on all sides.
  5. Fry until the rolls become golden brown and crispy.
  6. Carefully remove the fried rolls using a slotted spoon.
  7. Place them on absorbent paper to remove excess oil.

Cigar roll shots
  1. Take clean, dry small shot glasses.
  2. Pour sweet chili sauce into each glass, filling about one-quarter of the glass.
  3. Gently place one crispy cigar roll upright into each shot glass so it stands nicely.
  4. Sprinkle finely chopped spring onions on top of the roll for freshness and color.
