A Blooming Bottle Fountain
Have you ever thought of turning waste materials into something beautiful and flowing? In this project, we create a decorative water fountain using a glass bottle, clay, sunboard, and plastic bottle cuttings. With simple tools and creative detailing, this fountain transforms everyday materials into a charming home décor piece where water flows continuously, adding life and calm to the space.
Supplies
- Glass bottle
- Tissue paper
- Glue

Bottle Preparation
- Take a clean glass bottle as the main structure.
- Apply glue evenly on the bottle surface.
- Wrap tissue paper over the bottle to create texture.
- Let it dry completely so the surface becomes firm for further work.
Window Design With Sunboard
- Take a piece of sunboard and draw a window shape on it.
- Carefully cut out the window design using a cutter.
- Paste the sunboard window onto the bottle using strong glue.
- Press gently and allow it to set properly.
Clay Flowers and Leaves
- Take clay and roll small portions to form flowers and leaves.
- Shape them gently using fingers or simple tools.
- Stick the clay designs around the window and bottle surface.
Pipe and Water Flow Setup
- Take a pipe and insert a GI wire inside it for support.
- Bend the pipe to the desired curved shape so it can stand firmly.
- Attach a shower head at the end of the pipe.
- Place the bottle inside the pipe structure.
Cutting the Plastic Bottle for Leaf Details
- Cut plastic bottles into leaf-like shapes.
- Fix some leaves over the shower head for a floral water flow look.
- Attach a few leaves along the pipe to enhance the natural design.
- Ensure all pieces are securely glued.
Adding Colors and Designs
- Take a plastic container to collect flowing water.
- Cover it with tissue paper, apply glue, and let it dry.
- Add colors and patterns to match the fountain theme.
- Place the container below the shower head.
- Add a 6 watt pump
- Connect the water system so the water circulates continuously.
- Add final colors and detailing to the entire structure.
